N. Charleston to hold Christmas Festival and Parade Dec. 1 | Events

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - The City of North Charleston will kick off the holiday season with a parade fit for Jolly Old Saint Nicholas.
The Christmas Festival and Parade will be held Saturday, December 1 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. around Park Circle in North Charleston.
This year's holiday event will include a Holiday Market complete with children's activities, craft and food vendors, and live music on three stages.
A Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the corners of Montague and Mixson Avenues, and will make its way around Park Circle.
Santa Clause and Mayor R. Keith Summey will light the City's Christmas tree outside of the Felix C. Davis Community Center immediately following the parade.
Police will close the Park Circle traffic circle to vehicles beginning at 3 p.m. The circle will reopen to traffic at 9 p.m.
