Chipotle brings Tex-Mex flavors to Lowcountry today | Business

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Burrito fans looking for a quick bite will now have a new place to eat in the Lowcountry.

Chipotle, a Denver-based chain, is opening their first restaurant in the Charleston area today. It will be located at 7398 Rivers Avenue, near Ashley Phosphate, in North Charleston.

The restaurant, similar to other burrito joints like Moe's and Qdoba, has made a name for itself with its number of fresh ingredients, tacos, burritos and quesadillas.

Chipotle plans on opening a location near the Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre some time in November.
